Youth and Community Conferences

The Career Passionconferences are dedicated to helping youth, from Grade 6 to post-secondary, discover their talents, career and life opportunities in their home communities, provinces and nation. Particular attention is paid to strengthening self-esteem and involvement in the Community.

"As the keynote speaker, Sandra Greenough was able to frame the thoughts of conference participants to maximize the benefits they received from the entire event. The Discover Your Career Passion session empowered these youth to achieve greater self-awareness for the career decision-making process, which ensued. Greenough's team remained engaged with the youth throughout the entire conference, which, although was not a requirement, enabled the team to make strong connections for the youth..."
- Denise Broadbent, Senior Program Planner, Alberta Human Resources & Employment

The Career Passionself-assessment and planning process is a holistic approach that helps individuals understand the importance of confirming and discovering what they Love and Need to do, in All Areas of their Lives, the Courage to Live it and the Plan to Do it!

It is our vision to deliver Career Passionyouth/community conferences in communities large and small all across Canada and we invite interested communities to contact us to learn more about how to become a host.

"There is a longing among the young of my nation to secure for themselves and their people the skills that will provide them with a sense of purpose and worth. They will be our new warriors; their training will be much longer and more demanding than it was in the olden days. Long years of study will demand determination. Separation from home and family will demand endurance. But they will emerge with their hands held forward not to receive
welfare but to grasp a place in society that is rightly ours."
Chief Dan George (1899 - 1981)

"Every part of the earth is sacred to my people.
Every shining pine needle, every shining shore,
Every mist in the dark woods, every meadow,
Every humming insect.
All are holy in the memory of my people."
